A Man of Terabi Gains His Sword

There was always something different about Edgar Kribana. Well, it could be said that there are many things different about Edgar, such as he is directly related to Osai, he comes from a family of 15 children, he is on the younger side, musical ability runs deep in his blood, and his best friend is his younger sister Alanis.

But go beyond that. There was something about the way he carried himself that was different.

Edgar Lawrence Kribana was born on January 15, 2001, the 9th child of Mufasa Kribana and Jana Mohaili Kribana. Both of his parents come from the well known Catin city of Nialli and came to Kiillaana with their families in their youth. Being a pure blooded Kribana, Mufasa was extremely gifted in music and would go on to become a professor of the French Horn. Jana would go on, despite pursuing the Catin culture of having a very large family, to teach piano to all of her children and teach music at a local elementary school.

Armed with this wealth of musical talent, it was no surprise that most of the Kribana children would go on to pursue music. Edgar was certainly no exception. At the age of just ten, he is already very good at the French Horn and cannot wait until he is old enough to play in band.

However, there was something about Edgar that really stood out. While most of his brothers and sisters can be described as very outgoing and loud, he is very quiet and softspoken. He is not shy by any means but has a certain calmness that everyone is receptive to. Even as a small child he was always one to give big, meaningful hugs, speak softly with a twinkle in his eye, and sit quietly at orchestra concerts, taking it all in, while holding the hand of whoever was sitting next to him. He was extra sensitive to the various emotions of his friends and family and always seemed to say the right things to make anyone feel better.

This became more than just small mannerisms, this became his prominent demeanor. Several people had wondered if he maybe had Terabi Tana, especially since he was so in tune with emotions, but he was long past the average age of discovery so it wasn't seriously considered until he was about 9 or so. As he got older however there were just more and more clues falling into place. Edgar himself began to wonder if he really was a man chosen by Terabi to do his work.

That fateful day came on February 2, 2010, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday. He was in his room when, with a tender hand, he was guided into a vast realm which he described as intensely peaceful and which hummed with life and energy. With tears in his eyes, he looked up, where he met the eyes of the man unmistakably Terabi. It was true. It was time. This was it, and all the waiting and wondering was now proving true and unfolding before his very eyes.

As if by instinct, he knew what to do and all the various steps of the process as Terabi taught him things. He felt an amazing sense of peace and power as his own glowing Teracor was made visible over his heart. After some time talking and traversing he received his sword- a beautiful, minimalist, straight edged sword that fit his style perfectly. It was very strong and became quite ornate in a very simple way.

As Edgar left the realm for the first time to return, he ran to tell his family what had happened. They knew it without a doubt and went to visit the local man bestowed with the gift to call forth and confirm such gifts as these. As they talked he was excited beyond words and as Edgar recited those beautiful Keòen words the undeniable, white, glowing slash ran across his eyes.

Edgar has Terabi Tana. May he use it for good and stir the hearts of many with love.
