Ever wonder what I mean when I say someone is "Of Osai" or "Of Terabi?"
Here's what I mean:
Someone who is of Osai has extremely vivid dreams or visions with tangible and understandable meaning. They also can see themselves doing certain things in the future and are very in tune with their heart. They are visionary people and will often be noted as saying things like "I can see myself doing this" or "I just saw myself [in whatever future capacity] for a brief moment." Their dreams always bring them inspiration, admonition, and entertainment unique to them and their situation. Osai likes those given his traits to be happy in darkness (sleep). These are also the people that hear the tiny whispers that speak to their heart, helping them throughout life. All Men of Osai have these traits but the general population can have them as well.
Someone who is of Terabi is able to sense the auras of others--not to the extent that Terabikai do but enough that it's what gives them the qualities of compassion, understanding, and empathy. They are the ones who notice a change in someone's demeanor in an instant. They also have the ability to sense the overall atmosphere of certain people and places and are very in tune with their own emotions. People of Terabi are very concerned with the well being of others and do all they can to brighten someone's day through kind words and actions.
People can be of Osai, of Terabi, or a mix of both. Some people are strongly of one or both and some are less strong but can relate their actions to one or the other. People can also be of neither and have qualities of other deity. As for me, well, I'm strongly of both! I'll often say "That's a very Terabian way of thinking" when describing something to do with empathy or sensing of mood/spirit/aura of someone or someplace. Some people of certain personalities or upbringing will be more likely to be strongly of one or the other. It is more common to be of Terabi than of Osai. Most Jadali-Kiillra are of both, since the country was created by Terabi and Osai. Often, people will have a mix of traits used to describe both as they work together in harmony.
