Spotlight on: Jeffrey Peak

Full Name: Jeffrey Ferrous Peak
Birthday: June 14, 1994
Method of Creation: #1- he started as a Runescape character!

Creation Story:
The first and only person derived completely from Runescape, Jeffrey Peak had a very different start. As Jeffrey is my favorite name, I use it a lot everywhere. Being one who loves clever account names I was known to just create random accounts with no purpose but to have cool names. This would later go out the window with the update to change your name but not before I went through this "Jeffrey phase" and created no less accounts than Jeffrey Ivan, Jeffrey Dusk, Jeffrey Coda, and of course Jeffrey Peak.

Funny story about that, the JP was my second in this giant series and I actually really wanted the name Jeffrey Park but it was unfortunately taken already. So, I made a compromise and changed Park to Peak and it was available so I took it. He of course sat dormant along with all of my other millions of accounts I only made for a name.

Now I don't really remember how, when, or why (probably because I lost the list with the original names and forgot the name of the one a step younger than Oja) but it became implied that Jeffrey Peak was one of the 26 men in the world with Osai Naori. After this realization he absolutely took off and very quickly became his own unique personality with an even more unique story.

So it began. I thought and thought and the story just formulated like I trust it to do. He ended up being a 15-year-old boy from the northern outskirts of Kalta, which would make him live on a small ranch. He lived in a neighborhood but everyone had huge backyards with rolling hills, tree-filled areas, and livestock. Soon it became so that he had an older brother named Jeremy who was a 20-year-old college student who was renting the house right next door and who lived with his drug-addicted, alcoholic, struggling best friend Kyle.

The story that I thought of that introduced this cast to my mind was based off a real event of someone getting totally wasted at a party. He passes out on the way home and is tended to by his friends, them literally changing his clothes and staying with him to make sure he was ok. I incorporated this into the story and it went something like this:

It was a clear October night (*cough*halloween*cough*). It wasn't too cold and Jeffrey and Jeremy had just gotten back from a party at a friends' house involving nothing but pure fun, food, and games. Jeremy was getting worried. Kyle had not yet returned home and it was getting increasingly late. Kyle was well-known for being a party animal, getting hopelessly addicted to all manner of drugs and alcohol in high school. Jeremy missed the old Kyle who played baseball and climbed trees in the countryside- the Kyle now replaced with one who was irresponsible and cut class every chance he got to keep up with his new party habits.

Jeffrey, even at just 15, had a very caring nature about him. Having Osai Naori he could slightly see into the future of things that Osai felt were to be known to him. He did not yet know why but he had been specifically told by Osai to care for Kyle even at his darkest hour. He could only guess as to why and even though he hated Kyle for the person he had become, he never could turn him down when he needed help. Even though he knew it was highly likely that Kyle would turn around and do the exact same things he could not help but give him aid.

Finally, well after midnight, a car pulled up to the house next door. The music was blasting so loud that Jeffrey could hear it from down the street. The door opened and out melted Kyle, too drunk to even stand up. He was hanging sideways out of the seat, only held in by his seatbelt that he was thankfully wearing. He managed to wake up long enough to slowly stand up, get out of the car, and stagger up to the house, but collapsed into a ball in the street. The people in the car were laughing and the car sped off, tires screeching loudly. Jeremy and Jeffrey ran to the street and helped Kyle up. It became apparent that not only was he as drunk as it got with him, it was also apparent he was high on one of the SDFA club drugs, probably more than one.

Suddenly he arose and bolted for the front door. He was running very fast with this sudden burst of energy but only made it as far as the edge of the lawn closest to the house before he once again stood and fell, too dizzy to stand, back to the ground, this time for good. Jeffrey volunteered to take care of him and looked at his watch. It was 1:49 AM. With his threefold strength he easily lifted Kyle's sturdy, muscular frame and gently carried him into the house and all the way back to his small room.

He set him on his bed and looked at him. He was wearing tight jeans that were clearly not his and his shirt was filthy and covered with dirt and stains. For a moment Jeffrey remembered the old Kyle who was so energetic and on the road to a better life than his parents. He had a flash of insight from Osai just then telling him to dress him in clothing for the night. With Jeremy right behind him, Jeffrey got to work trying to remove Kyle's tight pants, replacing them with a pair of long leg boxers he found in the drawer. This he did without much difficulty with Jeremy's help. He then sat him up and removed his shirt and put on a clean one. He felt a twinge of sadness at Kyle in this helpless state and honestly had no idea why he even still helped him, other than Osai told him to.

Suddenly Kyle awoke and was very agitated. In another flash, the Peak boys had a bucket ready for Kyle to throw up in, being sure he did not get any on the clothing he just got changed into. Once that was over, he began mumbling and shouting random things that couldn't be understood. Jeffrey realized that Kyle was beginning to come down from his high. Based on what he was doing, he was sure of the drugs that he took and he braced himself for a long night. This drug, only available in the Smoker-Drug-Fighting-Addicts gang headquarters, caused serious reactions when the high wore off. It was a hard crash and Jeffrey knew it. He told Jeremy to stand by and they watched as Kyle's body began to reel back as he crashed hard from the clouds of the drug back to a state of normalcy.

Jeremy could barely watch. Kyle screamed and tried to get up several times. Jeffrey was able to hold him down without much difficulty although it was a struggle. Finally after what felt like hours he had settled down enough to finally sleep. When this finally happened Jeffrey told Jeremy it was ok to go to bed and get some rest. This he did gladly while Jeffrey waited at his bedside watching him to make sure Kyle was all right until morning.

Not bad for spur-of-the moment writing of this story I thought of a year ago eh? As time went on it became apparent that Jeffrey was always tending to Kyle for reasons really unknown. One time Kyle came home so high he was violent and so his roomies locked him out of the house. He became so violent that Jeffrey set out to try and tie him up to get him to calm down. This resulted in him getting punched in the face more than once but he was unfazed and eventually Kyle was restrained and came off that high.

It also became apparent that Jeffrey was the kind of guy who ended up in situations he did not want to be in and always had a scowl on his face. He often would have to go to these parties and drag Kyle out of there into a waiting car or other such things which he really hated doing. When Kyle wasn't high he often felt remorse for his actions but had a lack of willpower and therefore kept doing all of these things.

At school, Jeffrey was quiet but outgoing. His nickname was Peaky and he enjoyed being in band. His real dream was to become an EMS and when he turned 16 he joined the Junior EMS Team, a program in his city that employs youth to work as dispatchers and workers in the ambulances that go to scenes and bring people to the hospital. Again, that caring side of Osai Naori comes out. He saved Kyle many times and also many people just like him. He began dating his best friend throughout all school, Michaela Johns, right after he turned 16. He enjoys spending time with her and with his other best friend, his brother Jeremy.

This story is one that will go on for a very long time. I will probably add more later but this is it for now.
