The age of the discovery of Osai Naori varies by person. Some don't discover their gift until they are around 10 years old. Many are recognized by those who can read auras or those who are of Osai but do not necessarily have Osai Naori. Very rarely is this gift realized from birth when their name is given. Usually by the age of 5 or 6 is when the gift is realized, either by the ring of triangles in their eye by moonlight, very fast recovery from an injury or sickness, or by noticing and inquiring about the lack of sleep, mighty strength, or other things.
