Jeffrey

In case you haven't guessed, Jeffrey is my very favorite name. I am not entirely sure why I love it so much; two of the people I respect and look up to a lot have the name, but it also just sounds so awesome! I love it so much that it is what I have named SEVERAL of my peeps, more so than just about any other name.

In old English it apparently means "God Peace" and on another baby name site it is said to have come from old Germanic names. I of course took the name and wrote down the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it, so Jeffrey is Keòen for "Warrior." The name was first given to Jeffrey Loch, the son of Mera Visi, who was a great and mighty warrior. The name became hugely popular in Jadali and Kiillaana and even spread down to Catarika where it is now a very common name. When a Jadali or Catin person has this name it is pronounced "juh-FRAY" and the short version is Frey, which is the actual Keòen word for warrior.

Here is a short list of past, present, and future peeps of my world with the name:

Past:

Jeffrey Loch- son of Mera Visi, a great warrior from Jadali. His family line is very strong and can be found in Jadali and along the east coast of Kiillaana.

Present:

Jeffrey Stolley- a tuba player from Brassington High School who is tall and sturdy and marches in drum corps with Ambrose Lare and the other peeps of the BHS clan. He wants to teach marching band anywhere in the world someday, especially drum corps. He is married to Melissa Verdi and his nickname is "J-Smash."

Jeffrey Mohola- a trumpet player all the way from Ellsmatl, Anguadoria. He and his best friend, Declan Loch, decided to audition for KU from across the country and were accepted and fell in love with the city. He is fluent in Catin and Kevian and has blue eyes instead of the typical brown because of his 1/8 Kiillaanian. He is distantly related to Lesko Diamond (they share great-great grandparents) and is known as the clown of the trumpet section. His ability to play low is favored by many and he loves orchestra, even when most of the time is spent playing around counting rests. :P He is also famous for almost being born on an airplane.

Jeffrey Peak- a Man of Osai from Kalta, Vetonia, who is very good friends with Oja Diamond. He is often stuck caring for his alcoholic, drug-addicted neighbor Kyle who was his brother's best friend before he fell for addictions. He often looks angry or annoyed and would love to just leave Kyle on the front lawn but Osai has commanded him to care for Kyle and so he does with a heart full of love. He is known for getting placed into situations he does not want to be in when caring for Kyle and because of his etched frown came up with the face }:-| to describe himself. He is in love with his childhood best friend Michaela and is a very kind man.

Jeffrey Allen- a neurologist at Chan-Path, Dr. Allen is Lesko Diamond and Gary Charles' neurologist. He and his family have adopted and fostered several medically challenging children and he is a very personal and compassionate man. His son, Jeffrey Allen Jr, is also training to follow in his father's footsteps and is finishing up his medical degree at college.

Future:

Jeffrey Vice- a future son of Haven and Cobra Vice.

Jeffrey Diamond- the future son of Oja and Cameron Diamond, named after Jeffrey Peak.

So as you can see, I really love the name! XD }:-]
