The Rest of the Countries in a Nutshell

Here is a small list of countries I have spoken about.

Kiillaana
Inspiration
: USA
Capital: Tevernid
Population/Land Area: Much like U.S.
Race: "Warrior-like" (think Lord of the Rings) or blond hair and blue eyes.
Language: Kevian (English)
Notes: There are different regions, landforms, etc. Some cities are big and some are small. There are rural and urban cities. The layout of the geographical regions is different than the US but has a lot of great stuff, including the tropical rainforest (jungle), a giant maple forest, red canyons, grasslands, plains, ranches, tall mountains, coastlines, rivers, lakes, etc.

Catarika
Inspiration:
"Planet Cat"
Capital: Rihanu (pronounced rhi-HA-nu)
Population/Land Area: Not exactly sure, but probably close to Austrailia in both size and population.
Race: Catin (explained in previous post)
Language: Catin
Notes: A country where fresh fruits and veggies are always growing in the backyard; very laid-back and mellow people; lots of music; little to no fighting with other countries or self.

Jadali
Inspiration: An ancient land like Middle Earth.
Capital: Leena
Population/Land Area: A very large island with mountains and fields and a population of almost 4 million. Roughly the size of Idaho...
Race: Jadali-Kiillra
Language: Keòen
Notes: Jadali was formed in 1020 as the symbol of the friendship of Terabi and Osai.

Morley Atoll
Inspiration: Ape Atoll from Runescape
Capital: Killgarie
Population/Land Area: Fairy large, no idea how big an atoll can be.
Race: Morlean- a subset of Catin with darker skin and less of a catlike appearance.
Language: Catin
Notes: Morley Atoll was colonized by the descendents of two of the original Osanokai- Morlea and Rakanta. It lies a fair ways north of Catarika and fairly close to Kiillaana, probably off the coast of Kibinki or Anguadoria.

Rakia
Inspiration: A new race
Capital: Inyun (pronounced EEN-yuun)
Population/Land Area: Close to Japan in size, shape, and population.
Race: Very tall- average heights for men and women are 7'2'' and 5'10'' respectively. The eyes are round and a unique navy blue. The nose is broad and flat. The hair is jet black but unlike Catins, the Rakians have very coarse yet straight hair. Because of the coarseness of the hair any hair less that about 4 inches long sticks straight up. This gives their hair a unique bouncy look. They are, like I said, around the 7 foot region in height and are usually very slender and lean. Voices tend to be very low which has given way to a genre of singer called a "Rakian Bass."
Language: Rakian
Notes: Catarika and Rakia share a common thread which will be explained in another post. If Catins were the "cat people" then Rakians are the "dog people." They have sort of a dog-like appearence although their country looks more like Japan than a dog. :-) The Rakians are also mellow people and share a unique bond with the Catins, even though their countries are half a world away. Their languages are as alike as Spanish and French. Rakia is pronounced like [REH-kya] or [RAY-kee-uh]. Rakian sounds Arabic when spoken and is a quiet and mellow language that you'd hear while cuddling around the campfire listening to "Homer" speak great stories

Can you see a linguistics professor in the making here?

Taigana (East and West)
Inspiration: A new race, and Soviet Russia
Capital(s): Unsure at this point
Population/Land Area: Probably close to the size of Texas and the population of the Northeast US.
Race: Oval-shaped, blue or yellow eyes, a flat face, a narrow nose with a long nasal bridge; the hair varies from blond to black and has the texture of African hair. Average height is on the shorter side, at about 5'7'' for both genders.
Language: Tellish
Notes: Taigana is split into the communist West Taigana and the democratic East Taigana. West Taigana is very poor, polluted, and very much a third-world country whereas East Taigana is middle-class and vibrant. There is a great wall separating the two halves and it is very hard to escape from West Taigana although many characters have proved it can be done. The language of Taigana is much like Chinese- it is tonal and is comprised of one-syllable words.

Lisjovala
Inspiration: Russia/Eastern Europe
Capital: Unsire at this point
Population/Land Area: Probably close to Brazil in size, not sure on population.
Race: A tall face with a prominent nose and long nasal bridge, "European" eyes (? no idea...) usually blue, hair is in loose curls, tends to look crazy, can be as tight as ringlets or as loose as a light wave. Color varies from blonde to dark brown. Height is on the tall side at about 5'8'' to 6'8''.
Language: Lisjovalan
Notes: Lisjovala is a relatively new country so not a lot is known about the country itself. All Lisjovalan characters I have are born in Kiillaana and simply have the ancestry to go with them. It is much like Russia and the names reflect this. It is pronounced [lees-jo-VALA] or [lee-sho-VALA].

The Raellians
Inspiration: Japan
Capital(s): I don't remember them all
Population/Land Area: The Raellians is a group of 6+ island countries. Each is about the size of Portugal I'm guessing.
Race: Much like Kiillaana
Language: Raellian
Notes: The Raellians is actually a group of islands including Raellia, Lihana, Icenchinga Land, Breuislah, Aktoleezy, Ibraxni, and a few more. I really don't know much about them other than there are two variations on the alphabet- Raellian and Lihanian- and that the capital of Raellia is Tupak and the capital of Lihana is Lihana City. The language is like Korean/Chinese.

Rania
Inspiration: New Zealand
Capitals: Vasu, Iya Rani and Baso-Bisi, Iri Rani
Population/Land Area: Rania is composed of two islands and is about the size of New Zealand in area and population.
Race: Ranian- a subset of Catin with very dark skin and coarser features.
Language: Catin
Notes: Rania is Catin for "Islands" and is composed of Iya Rani (North Island) and Iri Rani (South Island). It is often spoken as one country but in reality it is two. It sits below Catarika (southeast) and is inhabited by Catins.

Cayadora
(I know nothing except it's what connects the kingdoms of Rancem and Rinniken together, it's a huge country the size of US, it's within sailing distance of Jadali [a month's journey] and Taigana/Rakia, and its inhabitants speak Kevian.)
