OK, most of the stuff I've written about so far has been stuff I've created long ago. Of course, as much as I try not to, I also plan for the future. Usually I'm inspired to write about something or for something to happen but like all things it takes time. I always live in the present and things often change once they're brought out into the open anyways. I do have some things planned out that will definitely be happening, but can't really happen for a year or so.
I have several life-changing events happening but I'll let you see them as they come. The big "project" that I'm working on now (the members of next year's drumline) will officially happen next August but in the process of this group getting prepared to meet is happening now. New characters are being created, lives are being established, and somehow I have to get about 12 incoming freshmen together in the same place at the same time. It's going well and this way I can figure out their personalities, style, looks, and background now. It's actually a lot of fun. Here are some of the people I'm working on:
Falcon Rivers:
The brother of Eagle, he's on the snare line and is an enthusiastic "fisherman-turned-musician" from Isle Del Akai, which makes him a "hippie." He has perfect blond dreadlocks and big round eyes that complement his style and personality. I've already described him, just now he's actually going to become a band director! Big news! He will eventually (and rather quickly) become a member of The Beatstix Club, an alternative sort of band, that will become extremely popular. He will meet and fall in love with another incoming freshman girl.
Emerson Keilley:
This Raellian tomboy from Isle Del Inu (Sealisle, if you're wondering) will make news as the only girl on the snare line. She is very unique in the fact that she can be very girly or one of the guys. She has trademark "emo hair" that is in her face and short, but she is actually quite tall and muscular. Her style is one-of-a-kind. She finds out that Falcon is from the Lost Islands as well and they become fast friends. They then start dating and become recognized and remembered as a "perfect match." Emerson is majoring in Music Education and earns a reputation as an excellent drummer.
Eitan Sokar:
A kind-hearted, mysterious, friendly, and avid musician from Auahana, Catarika, Eitan is somewhat of an exchange student, although he wants to establish residency and live in Kiillaana. He is actually a sophomore and spent a year in Catarika going to college. He plays the tenors, which for those that don't know consists of a harness with five drums attached to it:He is majoring in music composition and will eventually end up in the Beatstix Club. His best friends will be the other three members of this group. Eitan is known for his baggy sweatshirts, his big, brown eyes, and for being quite a hottie (lol).
Mirikeli Sokar:
The sister of Eitan, this happy, energetic girl is also an exchange student. She plays the cymbals and doesn't know what her major will be at the time of her arrival. Time will tell what it will be. She will be in marching band for many years and will probably end up being friends with everyone.
Ske Bao:
A native of Taigana, who moved to Kiillaana at the age of 5 months, Ske Bao is one tall Tellish! His hair and face are not of the stereotypical blonde hair, yellow or blue eyed, and sad-looking person. Instead, he is very tall, with a broad face, dark brown hair, and big, brown eyes. He is most likely part Rakian and doesn't doubt it at all. He grew up just northeast of the school in Pathreeah's Tellish quarters and is fluent in both languages. He is on the snare line and is a Music Education Major. He is dating Amber Landon, one of Rebecca's sisters. He is part of The Beatstix Club as well.
Timothy and Brandon Hoyt:
Better known as just Hoyt, these identical twins are inseparable and dress and look exactly alike. The only way to tell them apart is to look at the instrument in their hands. Brandon is a trumpet-player and Timothy is on the Tenors line. They are both Music Education majors who love music more than anything. They're farmboys straight from stereotypical farm-town-land: Kadinne, Karafina. They wear matching trucker hats and plaid flannel jackets every day and look exactly like farmers. Timothy becomes a member of The Beatstix Club and during the year that Eagle was on drumline, became very good friends with him. In fact, it was Eagle who showed him the ropes. Both twins are very protective and bring the aura of peace over everyone. They most likely have Terabi Tana but again only time will tell.
Auguslan Alcotade:
A young boy from Anguadoria with a name so Catin he most likely has roots there. He plays the smallest of the 6 bass drums and is a short, fun-loving chemistry major who helps keep morale high. Let's pronounce his name: It's AH-guh-slahn al-co-TA-day. All confusion ends now :-)
Those are the main ones I've been working on. They all are from such different backgrounds and cities but will unite with one purpose. It'll be fun!
In more recent news, there have been a TON of engagements (or future engagements lol)! Rasmus Bradshaw (a drummer, as dark as Oja) asked Melissa Tedmore (a percussionist major) to marry him. They'll be married by the time August rolls around.
Eric Latham and Rebecca Landon got engaged and will be married in March I think.
And, who didn't see this coming, Eagle and Winterwood will get married but stuff has to happen first. That is sort of planned out. I'll let it come as it may though. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself.
Speaking of the hippies (lol) Jaguarondi's love transferred to Kennywood University in the '09 year as well. Her name is Olive Moonbeam and she actually ends up on the cymbal line (where Jag is now as well as then). They will most likely get married shortly after that.
There are little stories that haven't happened yet that I know will, I just have to give them time. Everything is historically accurate, you know.
